Avery's Follow-up MRI

Hi everyone, just wanted to let all of you know, that we had Avery's follow-up MRI this morning, from his Chiari surgery.  The Dr said that everything looked beautiful!  He is doing well, and we will go back in November to see his neursurgeon and his plastic surgery from his Cranial Facial surgery (it's just time for his yearly check-up & the Dr's want to see Avery together)

Here is the AFTER:

The big white area is the spinal fluid that can now flow....the dark nub is what the Chiari used to be!

This is a little 'punch out' that they put in to ensure that fluid would flow

This is what the of the Chiari is now GONE!!!

YAY!!! Gods timing, provision, grace, love, hand.....is so amazing!

In other news, I have a sweet new niece, who was born today, she is just precious as can be!  I will leave the pictures off of here till the pround momma & daddy have a chance to spread them around!
